Film Producer

Today we had a film producer come and look at our thrillers and give us advice on how we could improve them to get the best grades available. Kwame, asked us what challenges we found throughout our filming and what we think we could improve on ourselves if we are re-shooting. He also told us what challenges he found when shooting his films. As my group didnt have our footage with us today, we looked at some of the other groups' to see what kind of films they have been shooting and how he helped them with theirs. He also taught us how to use colour on Final Cut, so we can make the films look more expensive and movie like. I think he is very inspiring and I hope to put all the new ideas into our re-shoot.

Group Meeting

Today in lesson we had a group meeting and looked at the footage of our thriller film so far. We decided that there were some effective shots but not enough of them so we are going to re shoot our film this week or next week and try to make it look more like a thriller and less like a horror. We wrote out a new shot list, that included some of the angles we were going to use and what actors& props would be in the scene.
The title of our film has stayed the same as well as the plot. We also decided what our title sequence was going to look like.
We also decided a new location as the location we were going to use in the first place didn't reply to our letter so we had to improvise. This didn't turn out as we had hoped so we decided on a new location.
